"You Know" Project

Hygiene Packs for Women - Our "You Know" Project

We have a very special and unique project to help women in the underdeveloped river communities where we work and minister.  Because of the remote nature and distance of these river communities from cities, the women don't have access to sanitary supplies and paper products afforded to women in developed areas.  Many women and girls stay secluded during their cycles and do not participate in public functions like church, school, camps, etc. because they don't have products that help them with their cycles.  With this project, you and your church or small group can help make a difference and be a key to social change for women.

We are looking for Churches, SS classes, women's groups, sewing communities and others who might be interested in helping us make and put together Hygiene packs for women and girls.  We are especially excited about this project as it has the potential to help almost every lady starting around age 11 and older and literally be a key to the social change for women.  We call this our, "You Know" project because as we are speaking and sharing with the ladies around the USA and in churches and groups about this project, "You Know" exactly why this is such an important ministry and project to help minister to the physical and spiritual needs of these very precious ladies in remote river communities.

We have a very detailed instructions sheet (PDF) that you can download and walk you through the process of making these Hygiene Kits.  If you are interested in helping us with this project, please contact us with any questions you might have as you get started.

The Hygiene Kits consist of:

Our hope and prayer is to have people motivated to help with this project and to impact the lives of ladies in remote Amazon river communities where we minister.
